Aquana is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Geospace Technologies, a global, publicly-traded design, engineering, and manufacturing company. Aquana combines connected smart valve hardware with cloud-based software to create operational efficiencies and protect assets. Aquana’s Water IoT Platform offers multifunctional, modular, and enterprise-ready solutions serving the rapidly growing water utility and property management markets. Our water management solutions deliver remote shut-off valve control, remote AMI meter reading, as well as leak and burst protection for multi-family apartments, commercial buildings, and water utilities.

Aquana was acquired by Geospace Technologies in 2021. Geospace works with clients in diverse industries worldwide to provide actionable intelligence for energy exploration, security and surveillance, and other industrial applications.

Geospace has a strong background in the smart water industry. Our smart meter connectors have become the de facto standard for inline connectors for nearly a decade, providing utilities with the watertight reliability they need. Geospace designed and manufactures reliable smart water meter connnector cables, pit lid antennas and field splice kits. Geospace expanded its footprint in the smart water industry with the acquisition of Aquana in 2021.
