Geospace Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: GEOS) today announced its subsidiary Aquana, LLC, signed an agreement with United Systems & Software, a network Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solutions provider to municipal utilities and an Itron Engage Certified Channel Partner.

United Systems & Software will serve as the manufacturer’s representative and reseller for the Aquana SV2 smart valves for the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The Aquana Smart Valve delivers remote valve actuation through its smart Cloud connected valve, and is available with LoRaWAN or 5G compatible LTE-M connectivity, local control via Bluetooth, and includes an integrated AMI endpoint for reading pulse or encoded output water meters.
